It’s an absolute scorcha in Melbourne today and if you’re like me, and can’t think of what to eat for breakfast because it’s too hot and your brain gets fuzzy...look no further!
Using our Nuts About Life ingredients @thenourishedchef has created this recipe that will give you the energy you need to take on the day!
Maple hemp seed and chia
Low Carb │ Vegan │ Gluten Free │ Ketogenic │ Dairy Free

RECIPE: (Serves 2)
INGREDIENTS:

- 1½ Cup Canned Coconut Milk
- 3½ Tbsp Chia Seeds 
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract 
- 1 Tbsp of Xylitol

TO SERVE:
- Drizzle Maple Syrup 
- Sprinkle Hulled Hemp Seeds
- Sliced Fresh Fruit
- Sprinkle Hemp Seeds (Pumpkin, Sunflower, Chia etc)

METHOD:

1. Start the night before. Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Leave on the counter at room temperature to thicken, about 15 minutes. Once thick, stir together again. Cover bowl and leave in the fridge overnight to set.
2. When ready to serve, it’s time to assemble. Pour chia mixture into a serving bowl. Drizzle over maple syrup and top with hemp and extra seeds if desired, fresh fruit and ENJOY!
